Pregnancy marks a crucial transition in a woman’s life, and it brings about a myriad of physical, mental and emotional changes that require support from conception to childbirth. So we created a class that would support you as much as your baby throughout pregnancy. The Maternal Wellness During Pregnancy course is divided into 10 lessons to help you get through the first, second and third trimesters of pregnancy. We also provide expert advice on specific pregnancy topics, such as bonding with your baby in utero, how to defend yourself during your pregnancy, and essential baby gear and moms favorites to stock up on before welcoming. your little one.
Led by certified nurse-midwife Diana Spalding, the course details the symptoms of each trimester and how to deal with them, what to expect at antenatal appointments, foods that will nourish you and your baby, movement routines that will help maintain flexibility and range of motion as your body changes, relationship and work management tips, and meditations to support you mentally.
You’ll also hear from other experts, including dietitian nutritionist Crystal Karges, health scientist Kristen Mark, Dr. Kiarra King OB / GYN, author Elizabeth Gedmark and Sarah Goldstein and Deena Campbell from Motherly.
