Around 15,000 places available in different streams in 42 high schools, including two recently renovated
The online process for admission to Class 11 at public schools across the city is expected to begin on Wednesday.
This year, a total of 42 upper secondary schools are open for admission, including two schools that have been upgraded to upper secondary level.
The deadline for completing the admission forms will be August 19. The final list will be posted on August 31.
The Education Department plans to start classes for Class 11 from September 4 and whether they are offline or online will depend on subsequent orders.
The online admission process will welcome approximately 15,000 applicants, who can register online at www.chdeducation.gov.in or www.nielit.gov.in/chd by paying a fee. ??130. There is only one registration form for all streams.
Applicants with a score above 60% must complete a minimum of 10 options from schools / tracks of their choice while applicants with a score of 60% or less must complete a minimum of 15 options.
Students who have passed Class 10 of a board other than CBSE; those who have passed the compartment exam and / or class 10 in any year except 2021; and applicants claiming to benefit from a reservation in any category will be required to submit a scanned copy of the relevant certificate / documents.
