GES warns against review errors

The Ghana Education Service (GES) has warned all stakeholders involved in the 2021 Basic Education Certificate (BECE) exam to refrain from any form of misconduct on the exam.

GES announced in a press release that BECE 2021 will start from Monday, November 15, 2021 and end on Friday, November 19, 2021 at all 2,158 designated centers across the country.

While congratulating the 571,894 candidates who will take the exam, GES said it is working with WAEC and security services to ensure the exam runs smoothly in all centers across the country.

Strict respect

Additionally, the GES urged supervisors and monitors to ensure strict adherence to COVID-19 protocols at all centers.

Regarding the school selection process, the statement said the process would start after the BECE, adding: “Details of the selection process will be communicated in due course.”

The GES expressed its gratitude to all teachers, elementary school principals, directors of education, parents / guardians and all stakeholders for the crucial role they have played so far in preparing candidates for the ‘exam.

“On this note, management wishes all applicants success and good luck,” the statement added.
